I was looking for some information on a client today, so I went to search.twitter.com.

I was hoping to find some interesting comments about a recent product launch, but when I conducted a search for the company and product name, all I got was tweets about articles referencing the product.

I wanted to learn more about what people actually thought about the product, so I clicked the Advance Search link.

There I found a section called Attitude with check boxes for “With Positive Attitude”, “With Negative Attitude”, and “Asking a Question.”

By clicking these check boxes, theoretically, you should be able to find comments with a particular bent.  This could be a powerful way for you track what people are saying about your company and its products.
