Video: Marissa Mayer Speaks on Value of Location Services

In an interview with Media Beat, Google’s Marissa Mayer spoke about the value of location in generating content. Location-based services like FourSquare are, as she pointed out, still in the very early stages of development, but Mayer believes more people will get involved as merchants make it worth their while (hence Google’s well publicized failed bid for Groupon, which she also discusses). She’s intelligent and articulate and it’s always interesting to hear what she has to say:
